چکیده
The damage owing to climate change is increasing worldwide. In South Korea, the increase in temperature has exceeded average global increase. These changes have increased frequency and of droughts. To reduce drought damage, importance efficient water management policies evapotranspiration (an index used for policies) increasing. Generally, potential ( $${ET}_{0}$$ ) estimated by using FAO-56 Penman–Monteith (PM) equation on meteorological datasets. this study, long-term data with a maximum 100 years were collected from 12 sites estimate evapotranspiration. objectives study (1) based PM equation, (2) analyze trends evapotranspiration, (3) evaluate relationship between through correlational analysis. results improve our understanding provide valuable reference regional resource management. It found that there are generally spring, summer, autumn, decreasing winter. seasonal Mann–Kendall test show exhibits distinct spring winter certain areas. We determined strengths relationships metrics Pearson’s correlation coefficient, metric strongest relationship.

Climate change impacts on spatial-temporal variations of reference evapotranspiration in Iran
Global warming due to greenhouse effect is expected to cause major changes in climate of some regions. The change of climate is likely to have a profound effect on hydrological cycle. Evapotranspiration (ET, as the major component of hydrological cycle, will affect crop water requirement and future planning and management of water resources. This study was conducted to investigate climate chang...
متن کاملRegional Climate Change Impacts on Irrigation Vulnerable Season Shifts in Agricultural Water Availability for South Korea
Reservoirs are principal water resources that supply irrigation water to paddy fields and play an important role in water resources management in South Korea. For optimal irrigation reservoir operation and management, it is necessary to determine the duration of irrigation water shortages. Management of reservoir operation and irrigation scheduling should take into consideration essential varia...
متن کاملThe effect of climate change on evapotranspiration in warm and humid conditions (Case study: South and Southeast of Iran)
Due to climate change and changes in plant water needs, it is necessary to evaluate climate change in the coming decades with the aim of appropriate environmental planning to adapt to future climate conditions. The main factor of water resource consumption in arid and semi-arid regions is agriculture and consequently evapotranspiration, so knowledge of the change and its prediction plays an eff...
